Arrival by train and on foot and by bike
Help us keep our festival sustainable by traveling by train if possible. The easiest way to get there is to get the train to Ludwigshafen main station. From there it's a 20 minute walk to the festival.

On the way there, you will experience Ludwigshafen as a city of post-war modernism with its very own urban charm, until you reach the park landscape by the lake. Signs will guide your way from the main  station. At the entrance you will also find a guarded bicycle parking lot.
Arrival by public transport
The bus stop Ludwigshafen Hochschule is located directly at the corner of the festival entrance. From Ludwigshafen main station take bus line 75 to the stop Ludwigshafen Hochschule or bus line 74 to the stop Bayreuther Straße (5 minute walk).

For all visitors coming from Mannheim, you can take the S-Bahn lines 6 and 7 to Berliner Platz. There you change to bus lines 75 or 76, which will take you to the Ludwigshafen Hochschule stop. Or you can take the S-Bahn number 4 to the Rohrlachstraße stop and walk from there to the Blies Festival in 10 minutes.
Arrival by car
There are plenty of free parking slots at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft on Bruchwiesenstraße (B44), directly opposite the festival grounds. The parking lots are signposted. From the north and west via the A650, take the exit towards LU-Gartenstadt/Bruchwiesenstraße.

From the south and east via the A61, follow the B9 towards Ludwigshafen at the Speyer interchange, keep left and continue on the B44 until you reach the signposted parking lot on the right.
Food & Drinks
On entering you will receive a reusable and portable Blies cup for 1 Euro. This will be your cup for the festival day. Take care of it. It will be rinsed out for you every time you order a new drink.

You can also fill up with tap water for free at our water fountain. Water is not a commodity with us! An inviting and diverse food court will provide food and drinks for the whole duration and will offer vegetarian and vegan food.
Please help us keep the festival clean!

The festival will be a sustainable and fair event. By creating a pleasant and progressive community, we want to cherish the peaceful culture of techno in an outdoor location.

In addition to the portable festival cups, we will use reusable food bowls, digital tickets. Portable ashtrays will be distributed to all smokers at the entrance. We will also have a waste separation garbage cans to use. Please do not litter. If you see trash laying around, be a darling and pick it up.
About us
We are Projektgruppe Blies, a nation-wide independent creative collective consisting of producers, DJs, artists, designers, photographers, architects and scientists. We are interested in thoughtful, aesthetic and cross-disciplinary experience concepts.

The festival acts as a bridge builder between different styles of electronic music by emerging and innovative talents and contributes to cultural exchange and inspiration in the field of music and art. The event is intended to establish itself as an annual intercultural meeting spot for the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.

In the planning and execution of the festival we are not profit-oriented, but promote a low-threshold access to electronic music. Gender equality in the line-up is a particular concern for us. The lineup is 50 percent female-oriented.
As a cultural festival, we primarily present innovative and up-and-coming artists outside the mainstream, with the demand for the highest quality of craftsmanship and content. With a focus on art, culture and sustainability, the Blies Festival draws a conscious counter-design to the commercial sell-out of electronic dance music.

The focus is on the positive social utopia of progressive club music and the shared experience of a tolerant and peaceful community with the core political message: United in Diversity.

Against this background, we are proud to be supported by our various partners from the public and private sector:
